Going Solo – at the Moon late night cafe – advances like a colonialist trooper into the evening during February. A key part of the big push strategy in Feb 2012 is the startling and cosy Rabbit Island. Rabbit Island will be performing each night in February alongside notorious musical vigilantes Sean Pollard from the Split Seconds, drone king Craig McElhinney, Tame Impala’s Nick Allbrook, The Chemist’s Ben Witt & dashing DYI trooper Peter Bibby from Perth’s own Frozen Ocean. Cool Perth Nights have run the Going Solo night for 7 years now and for the last three years the night has very much happened each Wednesday night at the Moon cafe 323 William Street Perth, from 8 – 11pm. The Fix has become one of the premier live jazz nights in Perth.  Renowned for its atmosphere and supreme musicianship, the night has featured many of Perth’s best jazz instrumentalists over the years!
