Ash Digs - Tapes of You E.P Launch

The  live debut of Ash Digs and EP launch of Tapes of You 5 track EP on June  4 at Perth’s iconic The Moon cafe 6.00-10.00, with support from local  legend Felicity Groom and DJ Eddy Stone.

Following  the release of singles Take A While Longer and All Dressed Up, Boorloo  singer, songwriter, producer & multi-instrumentalist Ash Digs has  reached the next chapter on his cosmic musical journey, with the first  EP of this new project, Tapes of You, out Monday May 22 via digital  platforms.

This  first EP as Ash Digs sees Hosken exploring themes of truth and honesty  from an emotional & relatable perspective, with the five tracks of  the EP largely exploring the five stages of grief - denial, anger,  bargaining, depression and acceptance. Through exploring these themes,  Ash found his voice both literally and metaphorically, with Ash Digs  being his first forays into singing.

Expect  reinterpretations of the studio versions of tracks as Ash explores his  music in a huge and dynamic yet organic and honest manner on the live  stage, with a stack of audio gear in tow. Expect, the EP played in  sequential order and then some newer songs to close out the set.

The  Moon Cafe is where it all began for Ash Hosken's various projects, so  it is fitting to return to where it all began. Sunday music at The Moon  on the full moon on the WA Long Weekend.
