About the event
From the west coast, 21 year old Sam Coombes is an up and coming coastal folk singer/songwriter. His
storytelling method of songwriting portrays his love for the ocean, the west and the people that mean the
most to him. Predominantly sharing his music by busking at marketplaces and street sides however, Sam
has begun to branch out to more intimate shows. Sam is a passionate musician who loves to express
himself through his music and songwriting.
Sleepy Soph is an upcoming Perth based singer-songwriter who shares her stories through original compositions. She
presents her songs through the genres of indie and alternative folk. Soph looks at themes of yearning nostalgia, upfront
conflict and love in her songs as she transports you through the everyday emotions of life. She has her first recorded
piece of music coming out in early 2024, so stay tuned.
Folk Artist, Sabrina Ives is a Singer/Songwriter from Perth WA. Known for her original folk music with Celtic tones & blissful melodies, she has been writing & releasing music for the past 7 years and is highly recognised for her original work. From being nominated back in 2020 for Channel7 News Young Achiever Awards to receiving two awards from the American Golden Picture & Eastern Europe International Film Awards for her song "War on the Innocent", Sabrina presents to you a performance of warmth & tranquility. Influenced by the likes of Loreena Mckennet, to Australian folk legend John Williamson. She draws upon the storytelling tradition and is a storyteller at heart. To all the folk lovers out there, Sabrina Ives is a performance you don’t want to miss!
