About the event

Highly Irregular Jazz Fusion Band - performs a variety of Jazz and Jazz Fusion numbers, sometimes

carefully arranged beforehand , and sometimes arranged on the spot by the band members.

From the funky 70s Jazz and Jazz Rock standards of Herbie Hancock and Billy Cobham, through lesser

known Jazz sounds of European Jazz, unusual odd-time signatures, to more modern Jaco Pastorius hits,

you can expect a different version of every tune each time you see the band.

The band members are WAAPA educated multi-instrumentalists, but you’ll mostly see them as:

• Grace on Drums and Percussion

• Angus on Electric Bass, and sometimes, on a tiny but mighty Ukulele Bass

• Eli on Keys, and, if you’re lucky, on a 7-String Guitar

• Bryn on jazz and rock guitars.

• Danijel on Saxophones

You may be intrigued by some unusual jazz arrangements of Balkan impressions, and hear Gracie hand

drumming her kit, Angus plucking through the unusual bass lines, Eli throwing in some weird chords, and

Bryn playing Jazz-Rock guitar lines with Danijel throwing in some Flamenco scales into the mix.
